Mutant Hangout

I walk in and dangle my feet off the edge of the cliffs.

I walk in and see some other kid here. Hey, it's someone else. I walk over and sit next to him. " 'Sup?" I ask.

I nod to her. "Hey. . . I'm Andy." I say stretching out my black wings a little.

Erm, okay, I guess if that's what's up..."I'm LeAnne," I hold out my hand.

I stare at her hand and then at her.

I tilt my head to the side in confusion. Isn't that what people do? Shake hands? Is there some silent bird-kid law which prevents us from doing that? I take my hand away awkwardly. "You okay?"

I smirk. "My mom's Max. My dad's Fang." I think that's more explanatory.

I blink. "Who are they?"

OOC: I totally know what you mean, LeAnne on the other hand, doesn't.

I smirk. "Well, Fang is just like a giant shadow with wings. Max. . . . ." I try and think of words to describe her."Paranoid. Epic. Sarcastic. Fighter. And creator of this 'camp'. "

I nod. Ah, now that makes more sense. "Are they here?"

"Max is." I say but then add quickly. "Don't go see her. She'll squash you like a bug." I smirk. "My dad and their friends are across the country. Finding people like us."

I nod again. "Good to know." I really didn't want to end up as a dead bug now. Not a good way to start 'camp.' "Do you have any brothers or sisters?" Wow, stupid question.

I smile. "Naw, only me."

Phew. He smiled. If he is like his mom, the paranoid part, he might get bugged if I would ask him a question like that. I scoot to the edge of the cliff and dangle my feet off the edge while I try to think of something to say. I can't think of anything better then, "Do you like pizza?" Mental facepalm. Count two, for stupid questions.

I shrug. "Never had it." I smile at her.

My jaw drops. "You've never had pizza? Pizza is like the most famous food in the world!" Next to hamburgers or something. "How could you have never had pizza?"

i raise an eyebrow. "Me and my family have been on the run since I was born. Never had anything but rat and dumpster food."

I raise an eyebrow at his raised eyebrow, then let it drop. "You mean, you've never like, stoled food when you really needed it?"

I smile. "We did but it wasn't. . . .quality. Now, whenever I ask to go to the city, Mom says 'Over my dead left wing."

I grin. "Ambushing pizza delivery guys is fun. They never see it coming."

I smile. "Try horses. They stampede all over the place."

I think about that for a moment. "But where do you find enough horses?" I want to try this. MWAHAHAHA!

I smirk. "We lived in Nevada for a few years. Some wild ones lived in our area."

"Are we allowed to leave this place whenever we want?" It didn't really matter anyways, I'd leave just to go scare horses.

I laugh. "Max will have your head if you leave without permission!"
